The Black Forest region
Working where others spend their holidays
People do not just travel to the Black Forest to take a holiday but they can also live well and successfully work here. Your itinerary for your next trip should include a visit to Tränkle Turning Technology too; both assure yourself of our performance and to enjoy the natural beauty of our region. You are welcome at all seasons.
Hiking
Our region with its more than 24,000 extremely well signposted hiking paths is one of the most beautiful hiking paradises in Europe. Whether idyllic panoramic trails or demanding high-altitude trails, there is something for everybody.
Biking
Those who seek a sportive challenge will be exhilarated with biking in the Black Forest. No matter whether on the road or with the mountain bike on one of the 4,000 km of signposted mountain bike trails. Those who still want more than climbs with “only” up to 1,000 m (3,280 ft) difference in elevation and spectacular downhills can look for a real challenge of their own on the downhill route in Todtnau.
Cross-country skiing and alpine skiing
The Black Forest has a lot to offer during the cold season, too. With its 1,600 cross-country trails, cross-country skiers consider our region to be one of the top spots worldwide. But the alpine skiers, too, get their moneys' worth here whether on comfortable downhills in Schönwald and Schonach (5 minutes from our Triberg works) or on the extremely challenging world cup downhill on the Feldberg.
Sightseeing
Those who want to take things more gently have the option of exploring a wide range of sights. Whether Germany's highest waterfalls in Triberg, the world’s largest cuckoo clock in Schonach or the romantic alleyways of the historic section of Freiburg – The Black Forest has something to suit everyone.
